Bye-bye Howrse Quiz, Hello Archimedes
For some unknown reason, Howrse closed the Howrse Quiz website and relocating it to the main website. Instead of all the previous riding level questions and answers, questions thought up by players will now be added to the riding level pages. **Update – Many players have said that the main questions are still there and only a few come up from the horse quiz.** Unfortunately, this means I probably can’t provide you with all of the answers, but I will try my best. If any player is passing though the Riding Levels, I’d love if you could copy/paste the question and four answer choices, or the right answer, if you have already passed it. I would really appreciate it. To help figure possible Q&As, visit this page: Archimedes Links

Achimedes
Since this vanished suddenly, Howrse wanted to honor the players who won 100 challenges on the site. To do this, the player was given a new special horse – Archimedes. Just like the Harlequin, it’s breed is Special, instead of Divine. It is a very unique horse since you have the ability to improve it’s intelligence by answering questions. You will also be rewarded with aging points.
Like a foundation horse, the horse’s skills only reaches 350. Born in 287 B.C., players received this horse with 42 years of age, and I’m guessing, about 50% intelligence. The intelligence bar is located right under the characteristics and above the skills.

I want the Archimedes!!! :(
I wish Howrse Quiz stayed it’s own website though cause it’s easier.
I agree ;)
Hi! I’m new here. I love this site– it is so helpful! I was wondering if Jessica could make an Archimedes page sort of like the Xanthos page. it would be nice because then we could all help the horses get smarter and we could get aging points too!
I actually do! There’s a link to it towards the top of this post. ;)
Thankyou!
Congrats on your 2nd place finish in your parade! I tried to put a GA in but it wouldn’t let me :(. I still don’t understand why Harlequins aren’t Divine. I was hoping they were, but it’s not. I want a Xanthos, Fire Slepnir, Slepnir, Ice Horse, Archimedes, and the 5th Element Metal coat. MAN!
Thank you! If you tried past Tuesday, March 16th, it already closed. Harlequins kind of are divines in a way…but they can’t enter divine only comps, I believe. As for the parades, they will count as two.
Does anyone know someone who owns an Archimedes?
At the top of the post, there is a link to a page to all the Archimedes Links. For the first 20 or so, I was able to put the owner name for the link…I haven’t yet gotten to the rest of them. :p Otherwise, you could click the link and then it will take you to one. Look on the right side for the current owner, or in the Characteristics tab for the breeder.
what is the max you can answer on an arcamides a day?
Just one question on one Archimedes per day.
Haha, I own an Archimedes. Logged in for the first time in literally months and found it.
So what, can I as an owner, do to it? Or is it just something with low skills that sits in my stables?
Oh, and I (chaucolai) have an Archimedes…
Honestly, I don’t think it will help you other than *possibly* improve your popularity. The goal is to improve it’s intelligence by answering the questions correctly, but only visiting players can do that.
How can you get a Archimedes, and can Archimedes breed if its a male?? What about Xanthos?
None of the divines can breed.
Players got an Archimedes since they proposed a lot of questions to the Howrse Quiz.
So, is there any point to having 100% intelligence? Or is it just a superficial thing?
For example, would the owner get an extra AP/day because of it? *shrug* Mine just got to 100% and I don’t know whether I should really care about that..
Oh and re:Jessica, you can improve your own Archimedes intelligence – just go into his page from your page (not in the My Horses area, but going to My Page>Horses without a breeding farm or whatever farm you put it in and then clicking on it)..
I doubt anything would happen since it has the ability to loose intelligence if someone were to answer a question wrong. Players could easily cheat this way by having someone answer incorrectly so it drops to 99% and then someone else answer correctly to bounce back up to 100%. Then if there was a reward, the player would continue to receive it.
Good point! ;)
Check my posts.
HOw do you get an arcemedies?
They were given out if you submitted 100+ questions to the Howrse Quiz.
