New, Helpful Features Coming Once Again

Published by at 4:43 pm under News

This week, many new features are coming to Howrse, including a new layout for the “My Horses” page.

A change that I am happy about, is the re-arranging of the “My Horses” page. Before, there would be a box on the right hand corner of the page, providing links to your breeding farm. This was always a problem for me since I’d usually only take care of certain horses from certain breeding farms, which took longer for the pages to load. Now, there will be tabs on the “My Horses” page, allowing you to open that breeding farm without opening another window or page.

New "My Horses" Layout

The red line represents hidden icons. As you can see in the picture, the mouse is hovering over the horse, displaying all the icons associated with that horse. For the other horses, only the sleeping icon or the worked icon is shown to save up more space. A new filter option will be added to the breeding farms also so it’s easier to find a certain horse in farms with more than 10 horses.

Other pages will be simplified, like the Equestrian registration page. Instead of selecting an EC and then confirming the boarding and

New EC Columns

payment, you will now be able to sign up with one simple click of a button. Also, the column for the amount of equus per day has been removed. Instead, the total for the amount of boarding you chose will be shown under the “Board” button.

Changes will be done with the BM items as well. Remember when you would purchase a horse and try to add a Atlante’s Pack, but couldn’t? All because of Hephaestus’ Horseshoes? Now, that won’t be a problem. We can add that Atlante’s Pack, but the horse would lose the previous H. Horseshoes. The item will not be added back to your inventory, either. Yes, there is the possibility of loosing a BM item, but it is only to gain more. Also, twice the skill gain will be added to the lessons when a horse with the Hera Pack does a lesson. This is because the horse is aged by 4 months, instead of 2 (if the horse doesn’t have a Water of Youth). Two valuable lessons would usually be lost.

All diseases will be removed from the game, which was quite a shock to me. Pets that are associated with the diseases, like Hens and Falabellas, will be removed as well. However, Zebras and Rabbits will be staying. For those players who own hens, they will be compensated in equus. For those who own Falabellas, they will receive a pass. Overweight and underweight horses will still be possible.

I saw that too. You don’t have to fill anything in. All you need to do is click the “Confirm” button on the right next to where your e-mail is.

I am going to add a new post about that today, but I already completed it. Do you think you would be able to take a screen shot of it? It’s fine if you can’t.
