Removal of Daily Updates!

Published by at 8:35 am under News

I’m not quite sure how Howrse is going to do this, but they daily update will be removed to help players who play in different time zones. It is suggested to not do important actions with your horses, including breeding unicorns, until Monday.

Some other changes will be take place:

  • When stroking an Xanthos, the last born horse will receive 10% of energy.
  • When a horse sleeps in the box, it will loose morale instead of energy. When sleeping in a meadow colder than 10 degrees, the horse will loose 5% every 5 degrees. (5 degrees, 10% of morale would be lost)
  • Rabbits will no longer eat your carrots!
  • Morale, energy, and health will no longer be calculated in prestige.

Since there has been so many alterations with prestige and ECs lately, my guess is that they are possibly trying to ECs to improve more and crack the code to get 100% prestige.

You can also now find Howrse on Facebook! Don’t forget to add HowrseHelper as well!

So does that mean that my horse will:

    A) Lose 4% morale when sleeping in a meadow at 6 degrees?
    or
    B) Lose 0% morale?

I think rabbits should eat carrots. They give 4+ energy, and only cost 2000e! Plus they practically last forever. I think your idea is also right about the ECs to improve more.

I’m guessing that it would be about 5% morale..I haven’t seen it/ tried it yet.

You can delete this, but I thought I would just post this here, as it is quite a rude thing that has happened and I feel that you guys should know the truth. I’d mostly prefer if you posted it as an actual post, but I guess that’s up to you.

Could you please view the website: http://bridget-xxx-hacked.webs.com/thestory.htm

Thanks for sharing. I would post something about this, but there is nothing to say. This user was actually hacked since three different computers had access to that account. I can’t say ‘don’t share your password’ since something could happen anyway. I’ll keep the comment so anyone looking around the site can find this.

Okay thank you. I talked to your graphics partner/friend redchick_94, and she actually said she was quite a close friend to bridget-xxx. And I don’t think the horse loses any morale if it’s between 6-10 degrees, because I accidently did it to my horse and I don’t think anything happened.

..I don’t think it’s winter yet on Howrse. I’m pretty sure it’s still Fall.

Thanks for sharing that Ponyluv9. I also found it on a different EC. Many people who read it say they aren’t buying howrses from that group, or dealing with them anymore after reading that. Its nice to be informed.

I’m a little bummed out about the Xanthos thing. I remember times when I would overdo it and a howrse would be short on energy. The energy boost from the Xanthos would save my tail. Now, that energy is going to go to the last born howrse .. and I’m not even training it yet. -.- What a waste.

I am mortified by that story.

Only one person other than myself can access my account, someone I’ve never met but someone I trust very thoroughly, as I knew them online before I did howrse.

This makes me rethink the uses of this entire system.

They should put limits on what shared management can do- edit PMs, Selling, and personal data so that none can be edited or viewed, like A Virtual Horse does with the Partners function.

If thisa was put in place, things like this would never happen. EDITING PASSWORDS, NOT EMAILS, could be to advantage though. Just not the emails, so the owner can still get in.

I felt like I should explain my last thing a bit more. The co-manager could email you your NEW password, if, like Dark Dragon of Saphira Forums had happen, you attempt a password recovery, it resets your password and you never get the Reset Email.

This would have been useful to me in the past, as I got locked out of my Saphira account over a year ago and had to restart from scratch.

You’re welcome all. Glad to spread the word.

Oh yeah, it is also said that she’ll stomp your horses, put dud horses in your EC, and spam your forum etc.
