Published by at 4:36 pm under News

(Note: A post explaining new changes coming with the companions is explained below!)

You can now adopt Five of them in the store and more will be coming later …

The Rabbit The Monkey The Goat The Swallow The Cat

What are companions?

  • They allow you to play with your horses for the rest of the horses life
  • They give money or skills when you play with them.
  • Once a companion is assigned to your horse he can’t be removed.

Each day when you horse wakes up :

  • The Companion is asleep (When a companion sleeps he has his eyes closed , If he’s awake they are open.)
  • The player chooses to play with the companion for a certain number of hours.
  • When you age your horse the companion falls asleep again.

How does this affect young horses

There is no change to foal games.

From 8 months to 18 months (or 1 yr 6months) :
A gain in Genetic Potential for each hour of play, equaling a maximum gain of 1.2 GP as the previous foal games

From 20 months (1 yr 8 months) to 25 years old :

The horse wins Equus or/and skills per hour of play in a maximum skill gain limit of 60 points. If the Companion gives skills they are spread out evenly on all the horse’ skills.

The speed at which you will reach the 60 point limit depends on the skill gain given by each Companion. the larger the skill gain given the faster you will achieve the 60 points.

From 20 months (1 yr 8 months) onward

A dressage bonus for competitions is given to your horse if you’ve played with the companion already and he is awake. (You must do at least 30 minutes of game play on the day you want your bonus to apply)

Horse Sales & Companions

  • When you buy a horse that already has a companion you have 7 days to let it go and change to another one.
  • You won’t be refunded for letting a Companion run free.
  • On the sale page the companions are displayed under the age and breed of the horse.

it really stinks how even with divines, you can’t gain anything out of playing with them when your horse turns 25. i wish i had used my griffin to his full potential, aha.

You can remoove a companion by, selling it to another player asking if the could press the ‘let the companion go’ button! the problem is that you have to wait 10 to get the horse that you sold back :( Hope It Helped! x <3
