Reward: Black Orchid

Needs to be updated

Reward for completing level: Morpheus’s Arms, 5 aging points, 5,000 equus (needs update)

Tips:

1. You can use your original horse from the beginning of the game for this.

3. Make sure to check the other horses in the compeition before you enter so you know you will beat them.

4. This just means to have a mare in your EC that is at least two and a half years old.

7. Don’t worry, you don’t have to buy it with real money; you can buy it from your reserve. After your 50th day on Howrse, you can buy a pass for 20% of your reserve.

On your 50th day on Howrse, you can buy a pass with 20% of your equus at the moment. From then on, you can buy one for every 30 days. You can also raise horses until they die naturally at at least 30 years and 2 months old. This will also give you a pass.

when a thirty year old horse dies, to get a pass do you have to have owned it for a certain amount of time? or if I buy like a 29 year old horse, and just age it a couplt times, does that count?

  4. Jessicaon 25 Dec 2009 at 9:10 pm

No, you can own it for any amount of time. A lot of people buy horses when they are 30 years and just age it once to get the pass. So yes, your 29 year old horse would be fine.

    Hi, I have a question:
I’ve completed all of Level 6 achievement level except for Number 3 – Reach the Podium 5 times with a horse you bred.

I’ve completed this one, and I’ve waited for two updates, and nothing has changed! I reached the podium 5 times on the horse i started the game with, though… is that classed as a horse you ‘bred’?

Also, when it says ‘reached the podium’, does that mean the horse has to come first? Thankyou!

  6. Jessicaon 01 Jan 2010 at 12:24 pm

I am pretty sure it just needs to place first, second or third. It has to be with a horse you bred, meaning your user name should be on the horse’s page where it says ‘Breeder”. If you want, you can send me a PM on Howrse (my user name is Jessica27) and let me know which horse you are trying to complete this with.

    Ok, thanks for your help!

#5 where it says: foal or filly

a male baby horse is called a colt. as in the team of somewhere i dont know.

this might be picky, but its true.

    :)

My horse Bella is 30 and 4 months old and she is living large!! I don’t know why. She has MB, POC, and Cenatur’s Saddle. She doesn’t have Immortality, so she should have been dead by now. (not trying to make her die though). How does Ow make their normal horses Divine??????

  10. Jessicaon 18 Mar 2010 at 2:40 pm

There are mortal horses that are as old as 400 years old. The trick? Continue to add Black Orchids once the health is low. It all depends on how good you care for your horse.

You can not make a horse divine. It is almost like it’s own separate breed.

Oh, geez! A mare in my EC?? Not my breeding farm, right?

  12. Jessicaon 24 Mar 2010 at 3:40 pm

    Yes, in your Equestrian Center

dose it take a while to take things in

  14. Pinunpichon 30 May 2010 at 8:32 am

For the mare one, on Homemaker it says Have a mare in your stable, even though I don’t have an EC and completed it!

  15. Jessicaon 30 May 2010 at 9:50 am

It doesn’t need to be your EC; as long as you board your mare in an EC, it’s completed.

I purhcased 8 passes yesterday thinking that it would complete the “absolute power” achievement but after todays update it hasn’t worked, is there a certain amount I need to buy?
    Ta

  17. Jessicaon 06 Jun 2010 at 6:50 am

What time did you purchase the passes? You probably purchased them after last night’s update. I would wait until the next update to see if it comes up; if not, go to Contact Us on Howrse. You only need to purchase one pass for it to work.

  18. BeccaMon 17 Jun 2010 at 4:33 am

Does getting the pass from your horse dying count as buying the pass? Cause my mom wont let me buy them and it wont be running anymore on my 50th day. I really wanna at least get to level 8.

  19. Jessicaon 17 Jun 2010 at 6:55 am

Nope, sorry. It can only be with your reserve or with real money.

  20. Steveon 29 Jun 2010 at 4:00 pm

I’m confused on how to purchase a pass with my reserve. Its my 51st day on Howrse and I click “credit my account now with 335 equus” and all that pops up is a warning saying “You do not have any passes!”.

Is there something I am doing wrong?

  21. Jessicaon 29 Jun 2010 at 9:01 pm

You’re clicking the wrong link. If you have pass and you click that link, it will give you 335 equus for one pass.

To get a pass, go to Profile > My Passes and scroll down to the bottom of the page. There should be a long green button that should say “purchase a pass with (equus amount here – will be 20% of your reserve)”.

  22. Steveon 29 Jun 2010 at 9:20 pm

Ahhh I see it now :) Got it.

Thank you Jessica!!! You are the best.

  23. HORSE_CHICK10on 13 Jul 2010 at 5:02 pm

I bought a few passes, but I got them and spent them over a year ago. Will this still work for “absolute power”?

  24. Jessicaon 13 Jul 2010 at 8:52 pm

Hm..possibly, as long as it wasn’t before late 2008..Wait to see if it validates. Otherwise, you’ll have to buy some with equus or real money.
