Xanthos Links!

NOTE: Xanthos are only on International Howrse. I don’t think they will ever become a part of the newest versions. You can only stroke them if you are using your account on International Howrse.

Since the Xanthos is so popular on Howrse, I provided instant stroke links for as many as I could. Howrse has changed the stroking limit; instead of being able to stroke all 512, you can only stroke five per day. Don’t forget to check your mail on Howrse to see if you won a Horn of Plenty and 1,000 equus.

*If an error occurs, that means that you already stroked that Xanthos for the day or you have reached your limit.*

    I tried opening the tabs. (50). and i still havn’t gotten a message about a horn of plenty or 1000e. do you have to stroke them?

    By opening the tabs, you did stroke them. You don’t always win either. Check your mail on Howrse about 5 minutes after the next hour your stroked them. So if you stroked them at 10:20, check your mail at 11:05

    One of the HOPs and two of the passes are from Howrse because of all the glitches with the new layout. I think you might have only won once…how many messages did you get?

    I’ve tried to stoke Xanthos some times I wait until tomorrow and I still don’t get anything. Also, everyone says they get prizes for stoking Xanthos. They seriously get wayyyyy more than I do after I stroke 100 Xanthos I get 1 HOP. It’s just sooooo frustrating! Because some people on their first try get stuff like that other girl who got passes! :(

    Don’t worry. It’s all by luck. I didn’t win anything today either and I was on when only 2,000 other people were on. Just keep trying at different times. Also, it’s not possible to win passes in HOPs or by stroking Xanthos…I think that player made a mistake. ;)

    These changes stink! It doesn’t lessen your chances of wining the drawing but you stroke less so there are less drawings to win!

    for a cheat( although we can only stroke 5 a day) i just click 1-5 non stop and only open 1 link at a time. It sounds really wierd but it works and saves alot of time.

    It’s a Piece of Cloud. You can put it on a horse, making them 4 months younger and giving you two aging points.

    You can only get one by buying one in the private sales or auction.

    You’ll just have to wait. I gave up..Before when there wasn’t a limit, I would stroke all of them a day. I would normally get about 5 or even 8 wins sometimes!

    So, been playing about 41 days, stroked Xanthos about 38 times out of those 41 days. . .I think I have won two hops. . .I thought the chance was 1/3? Or did this change over the past year that I was not playing? It is getting to the point where it is not worth me taking five minutes to go through and stroke anymore. When I played a year ago I would win at least once a week. . .Also, I do not seem to be receiving my 10 energy points for my younger howrse either.

    Nope, nothing new. Maybe more people stroked more in the 200′s so you had a smaller chance of winning that time.

    Now that you can only stroke 5 a day, it’s hard to win. I used to get 8 wins a day when there was no limit. So yes, that makes sense with what you have got. There should be a notification on the Xanthos’s page after you stroked it saying ___ got 10 more energy points.

    I most often go for the 300-400-500 Xanthos’s, and I never choose people who have more than one Xanthos. I must just be lucky o_o

    You should be able to stroke 5.
    Just by clicking on the links you automatically stroke the horse.

    Well, i noticed that you are all saying that you get 5 strokes a day but how come i only stroke 1, ALWAYS get 10% energy and if, after that, i decide to stroke another one it says ‘you just stroked a xanthos’. Should i keep stroking until ive stroked 5 or just stop? Its all so confusing!

    You always receive an energy boost when stroking an Xanthos. But there is the chance to get a HOP and 1,000e, just not right away. Yes, continue to stroke 5 each day to try to get the reward.

    When stroking an Xanthos, you can receive 1,000e and a HOP. You can only stroke five a day and only a certain number of HOPs are given out from each horse. (In fact, it may just be one). I have several links provided that are instant-stroke (meaning you click the page and it strokes it for you), helping players have more chances to HOPs.

    No, it doesn’t. In fact, you want to try to congratulate ones that other players haven’t. (You can’t tell, but choosing a certain time to stroke them can be helpful)

    I don’t think there are any on the other versions that were added recently; those versions were basically a restart of Howrse. No divines/extra breeds that are on the international version carried over.

    Yes – You cannot access the Xanthos links while on the US server – the Xanthos are only available on the international version for Howrse.

    Stroking 5 Xanthos always gets you 10 energy points for your youngest horse, and 4 entries into the HoP draw. I’ve been doing it most days for months and have only ever got 1 HoP!

    I don’t think so I think the Xanthos are only on INT. Howrse sorry :( I play on AU it’s pretty annoying how all xanthos are on INT. Howrse!!

    KSO, I’ve tryed to stroke a few xanthos’ but” however I can’t. I never stroked any today or in a long time it just says stroke but its grey and it doesent say why !
