Features of this layout:

  • Quote: “Horses lend us the wings we lack” (Author Unknown)
  • Scroll box on the picture & five scroll boxes underneath the picture. (First, a set of three in a row, then a set of two in a row)
  • Monotype Corsiva font used for all text boxes (This can be removed)
  • A nice blue background color to match the sky.

    Get the code by clicking the link. Copy all of it, go to Profile > My page > then click Modify above your presentation > on the right, it will have HTML mode > Paste the code there.

    OMG these layouts are gorgeus. I am having one problem though. On the horses give us the wings we lack one the welcome box won’t work. Once again I love them but that box just refuses to work, soz about the complaint.

    If you can’t get the coding, let me know and I’ll send it to you.
    Basically, just copy the coding and go to your page. Click Modify then on the right, click the green button that says, HTML mode. Paste the coding there.

    Have you tried Ctrl + A? That will select all the text. Ctrl + C will copy the text and Ctrl + V will paste the text.

    Sorry, I can’t make fully customized layouts, but I can customize the layouts for you on the website on the Customized Layouts page. Any graphics program will work for the picture. As for the coding, you’ll have to learn. ;)

    Jessica, these layouts are very beautifull. I would like to use the Grazing Horse but there is not a code on the link page that you direct us too. Would you mind sending me the code, or at least a working link.
    Also, I want to make sure I’m doing everything right to put it on my profile. You have to make sure your profile is in HTML mode, then you past the code in the text box right?

    I know many people have had troublewith coding, and well… so am I. I am tech CHALLENGED! I’ve been wanting to use the grazing horse layout on my page. Two Problems…. I have no idea what coding is- not showing up on the page. I copied and pasted directly onto my page but cant put text in. I saved in a document- edited (put text where I wanted it) I pressed CTRL-A to copy but it won’t paste. I’ve been at this for an hour and no almost nothing about computers! HELP! (thanks for letting me vent) :P

    I’m having a huge problem :( I inserted a layout and it wasn’t working, so I took it out. After I took the layout out, I started typing on my presentation normally, like alot of people who don’t use layouts do. Now for some reason, Howrse won’t let me save it. This is the message thaat keeps coming up: You can’t continue…
    The presentation that you have written cannot be published for one of the following reasons:

    * The HTML tags are incorrectly formulated
    * It contains HTML tags that are not authorized

    If this problem occurs, it’s probably because you tried to edit your file with the HTML mode. Check the formatting of your text carefully!

    What should I do??!!!
    PS: Answer ASAP and I’m serious I have no presentation right now!!!!!!!!!!!! :’(

    It won’t let you just type? Try clearing your cache and cookies and check the HTML mode to see that there isn’t any extra coding.

    Of course! I’m not sure if it will fit in the EC presentation though, since those are smaller. There might need to be some editing done so it fits.

    thank you for letting me use the layout for my ec. i had to monkey around with the coding a bit to get it to fit right. hope thats ok. if you want to look at it to make sure i didnt remove anything that im not supposed to you can find it on my us howrse EC. my names the same as on here. i can also pm you the changed coding on the international howrse too if you prefer.

    Make sure you double click. A cursor may not appear, but you should be able to type.

    Try double clicking on the text box. Otherwise it may have to be through the HTML coding…I’m working on it. :/

    If someone on howrse is taking credit for your, or someone elses layout, should we tell them? Howrseinfo, is also a very popular website for generating codes, and someone is saying that they made them their selves. I dont know if taking credit for that is write. Thankyou

    It’s definitely not right. It is up to you if you would like to tell the original creator or the layout, if possible. I wouldn’t necessarily report it or PM the user, but it’s your choice.

    Ok, I’m trying to paste the “Horse Grazing Layout” on my Howrse page. But, each time I try to save, it says this: “You can’t continue…
    The presentation that you have written cannot be published for one of the following reasons:

    The HTML tags are incorrectly formulated
    It contains HTML tags that are not authorized

    If this problem occurs, it’s probably because you tried to edit your file with the HTML mode. Check the formatting of your text carefully!”

    I have no idea why it does that. Is the HTML coding being updated, perhaps? I wouldn’t know, because I’m not smart at coding like this. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    I tried the Horse Grazing one… it wouldn’t let me save it cause my presentation was too long! lol I had 2 layouts at once… and I wanted 3! Anyways I have knew layouts I made myself! (however, I am too lazy with not enough time and had to use a generator.) I’m fairly good with HTML code and may be able to switch pictures, fonts or backgrounds for anyone who needs it, however, please send the original HTML code and what you want changed, with the image location or font title if you have a specific preference. PM me if you want me to help! I am very busy but will try my hardest to get as many requests done as possible. I may even give away 1 free layout! (details will be on my page soon!) Also, please check out my EC, Borak Stables. They are currently under top-notch construction, but still, you may want to check out the bulletin board! Also, I have guaranteed to work as hard as I can to get every top-notch thing possible! Anyways, these are absolutely wonderful layouts!     That MIGHT be caused by the mispositioning of the text. There isn’t actually a textbox that says Welcome, it’s part of the picture. There’s an invisible textbox on top of it. I’m going to edit it and paste the proper code IF I have the time and can get it and IF it’s OK with Jessica.

    My friend “horseluva1998″ (http://www.howrse.com/joueur/fiche/?id=31322522) used the layout and her presentation is a bigger rectangle and it doesnt need as much scrolling.
    I’m “DogzLuva” (http://www.howrse.com/joueur/fiche/?id=32293265) and my presentation box is really small and I think the other one looks better. Do you know how I can make mine like hers?

    It’s very simple. Go to your page and find the button that tells you to modify your profile, as if you were to change the layout. There are two other buttons to the right of that. The last button will say “Options”. Click that and set your presentation height to be longer. I currently have mine at 1000 pixels, but if you have only several text boxes, maybe try 700 or so.

    Your images must be hosted on an online website. Right click on the image and click “Copy image location”. This is the link you use to insert the image on your page, whether through coding or by using Howrse’s shortcut.

    Thanks for telling me how to get the images on my page, it worked :).

    I have yet another problem. When I tried to put the Freedom Layout on my EC page, it went on but messed up the image and all. And now when I try to go back into fixing it, the little ‘modify’ button doesn’t do anything when you click it, it is just like a plain piece of text. Do you know what I have done to mess ANOTHER thing up! :)

    Everyone DO NOT USE FREEDOM LAYOUT ON EC!!!!! I tried it and it just messed up completely and WILL NOT ever let me modify it. THE MODIFY BUTTON IS JUST A BLACK PIECE OF TEXT NOW!!

    I really love the site, I am just trying to warn people about problems with the layout. The only way I found I could fix it was by starting my EC again, which was REALLY annoying!!!!!
