Objectives 31 to 39
On August 31, Howrse released the next set of objectives! The tasks will be displayed below as well as tips for completing them (on the right side). For some objectives, you will find a percentage on the right side for the completion of the tasks. Number 35 is one example.
Objectives 31, 32, 33
Objectives 34, 35, 36
Objectives 37, 38, 39
Tips:
31. Place first, second, or third in a competition with a horse.
32. Just hit the save button at the bottom of the notebook to complete the task.
33. Most likely it must be exactly 100 units.
36. This will not be the same number for you. It is two more horses than the amount you own now.
37. Just send a friend request to someone.
39. The breed does not matter.
For number 36, mine was already validated. I think it caps out at 100. But I could be wrong.
Hmm.. for the competition one mine told me that I had to participate in 80 competitions… I don’t know how many horses I had since it showed up… around 70 I think..
For objective 39, where it says “colt,” I just wanted to let you all know that the foal does not have to be a colt. You just have to produce a foal from a mare with positive BLUP, filly or colt.
And for 36, I had 130 horses, and it asked me to have 134. So it can’t cap at 100, and it can’t just be asking for two…
Hm…I suppose its about how many horses you have then? I had about 47 or 35 horses at the time.
Hm…Howrse has some strange patterns with these numbered ones..
Did any of you find the others afterwards? It was so nice to have the objectives laid out beforehand– thank you Jessica.
I’ve gotten to number 42 so far, and it asked me to have 2 more horses and compete in 10 extra competitions.
If anyone is thinking about selling some unused merchandise for money, I’d hold off until you can see objective 42 because it’s asking for you to make another $2200- at least that’s what it wanted for me.
I’m assuming that there’s going to be up to 50 objectives now because it’s an even number….

Go to Ow’s page, click “Send a message” under the little statistics box, then put “:)” as the title. You don’t have to type anything..I just entered a few times and added spaces xD
i had to get three more on No.36
Apparently no-one wants to add me as a friend ;) I’m stuck on # 37… and I sold ALL my manure ten minutes before the new objectives were put up LOL … so I’m also stuck on # 33!
BTW.. number 39 – is that specifically colt, or are fillies accepted also? I have a filly due :D
Gender doesn’t matter; a filly will be fine.

How do I find Ow’s page?
The easiest way is to go to the forum and click “Ow” at the top in the list of admins and mods.
When I am sending a message to Ow, I see this text : Unable to send that message since at least one recipient’s mailbox has been disabled: Ow and the message isn’t send ;( Please help !
Hm..For me, I hit send and the page didn’t change. But when I went to my office, it said it was validated. Try sending it again maybe? Otherwise, you might have to ask in the forums.
For 39, I found that you need to positive BLUP a colt/filly from a mare you produced! I know, it should say Reach A Positive BLUP With A Colt You Produced

Just go to Ow’s page and below the statistic box, it should say send a message. Just put “:)” as your title and just a few spaces in the message. Then click send at the bottom.

You need to breed a mare with positive BLUP…it can’t just be have a mare on your account.
Go to the Friends page and click the little link that says “Add a friend”. If you can’t think of anyone, feel free to add me, Jessica27. The other player must accept the request in order for it to validate.

If you are stuck on 38, just go to your “mail” and compose a new message, addressing it to Ow and putting :) as the subject.

For #31, where it says to get in the top three places with a horse, I did that twice, with 2 different horses, but it didn’t work. Do you know what’s wrong?

Did you do it before or after you got the objective?
It really depends on the breed, items on it, amount of training completed, etc. I would search for similar horses in the sales and try to base a price off of that.
Darn! I just forgot it had to be exact and sold 103 droppings to the store! It was all I had.

You’ll just have to keep taking care of your horses until you have enough.

Even if you click send and it says it can’t be sent, the objective will validate.

Usually the private message will refuse to be sent, but it will validate anyway. Try sending a couple of times and if it still doesn’t work mail a mod (with your problem, not with :) ))
I’m doing ob. 39. thanks for saying that the breed doesn’t matter. I thought I’d have to wait another 6 days because tomorrow my mare is giving birth to a filly not a “colt” like it says.

how do i know my horses BLUP
Sarah, there will be a bar on the genetics tab showing what percentage your horse is at for BLUP. I believe you must have a certain seniority to see that.
on objective 36 I have the amount of horses (some are foals) that it tells me to have and I still can’t complete the objective :( do they HAVE to be horses and no foals ?!
I don’t think foals above six months count…

You shouldn’t be talking about this, you should figure it out on your own, this is cheating you realise. I’ll tell the mods, don’t think I won’t, and if anyone else does writes on how to help, then they are going to have a chat with the mods. Serious, ask someone off HOWRSE to help you!!!!

Your notebook is a tab in you private mail.
Re the previous post, what is 35? Is it still win 50 comps? If so there’s no quick way other than getting the wins.

Ow can’t read any messages you send, so you can put anything in the message box. I think I just put in random text. :’)

I’m not sure, sorry. Keep in mind objectives can’t be completed in advance; they won’t validate. However, if you’re putting it in the auction, you have a bit of time to complete others.

I cant seem to get 37 validated, Ive sent a few requests, and even went on a backup of mine to accept the request :/
go to directories and typ in a couple of randome words and hit approximate search
and send 5 to 10 requests
believe me 38 WONT VALIDATE
