Your foal will end the day at 1 yr 6 mo w/ 19 energy. His morale and energy will be down the next day because of this and going to bed at midnight. His health should be fine but if he is overweight then feed less.

two of my foals didn’t have enough energy when they woke up so I had to skip the last 1 hour of training at 1 yr 6 months. Please tell me if I did anything wrong!

hi my horse is 5 – 6 yrs old can you tell me a good routine for her?

Foal games end at 1 yr 6 months I think..do you mean for training? You can view the Tips page for that. ;)

What is the genetic potential gain for this? Thanks!

  5. Jessicaon 26 Mar 2011 at 8:32 am

    Should be 1.2 ;)

I put my foal on this routine and he totally didn’t turn out right. I followed everything posted and he ended up on 1 year and 4 months with only 39% energy. It’s not the EC, because he has a super good one, and it’s not short supply of anything. He’s a Purebred Spanish Horse, if that makes any difference. Any advice? Thanks :)

i followed it exactly and it didnt work i did it twice on 4 different horses… why is the?

  8. Jessicaon 15 Jul 2011 at 8:09 am

It may be because this includes using a salt stone, which was removed from Howrse. Was each horse a different breed?

Could you do a winter game without the salt sone?

  10. Jessicaon 09 Oct 2011 at 8:27 am

You should be able to take out the salt stone and the games will still work

Do you age them right after each of these “sets” of actions or do you have to wait out there aging and repeat them everyday?

  14. Jessicaon 25 Nov 2011 at 10:38 pm

It’s up to you – you can age them after one day of actions, or you can actually wait for time to pass and the foal to age by itself.

Hey. This is amazing. The only thing is that the game of Howrse has been updated since you made this helpful page. There are no Salt-stones and to “play” with your horse you have to have a “companion”. I don’t think that this will work anymore since the changes have been made. I am too, stuck on this quest, and I have found no other helpful tips to raise GP gaining.

  16. Lilyon 12 Dec 2011 at 9:55 pm

So, what companion do you suggest we all us to get the highest GP gain?

  17. Jessicaon 17 Dec 2011 at 3:38 pm

This should still work – these games work with companions and just ignore the saltsone.

  18. kristinaon 03 Jan 2012 at 1:42 pm

Hi how do you get a saltstone

  19. Jessicaon 04 Jan 2012 at 12:28 am

They have been removed from Howrse. Sorry if it’s still posted as using a saltstone; just skip that step.
