Normal Games (updated 8/2015)

NEW: Training Video Series: Watch a video on Foal Games instead! Click here.

QUICK TIP: If you don’t have enough energy for the amount of playing, stroke an Xanthos. Make sure that the foal you are playing with is the horse with the lowest energy. Don’t try to play extra games with extra energy – you may run out of time (which will drop the energy for the next day).

Maybe wait another real-life day to train the foal again so you can use the extra energy from the Xanthos again.

**If your EC has a shower, you may finish games early!

Always feed when your foal has a higher amount of energy – this will give more energy to your foal. As long as you get the same amount of playing hours per day, you’re on track.

8 months:
groom / play for 1 hour / carrot / drink / feed +2 extra lbs / play for 7.5 hours / stroke

10 months:
groom / play for 1 hour /  carrot / drink / feed  / play for 8 hours / stroke

1 year:
groom / play for 1 hour / carrot / drink / feed / play for 9 hours / stroke

1 year 2 months:
groom / play for 2 hours / carrot / drink / feed / play for 9 hours / stroke

1 year 4 months:
groom / play for 2 hours / carrot / drink / feed /  play for 9 and a half hours / stroke

    Followed this exactly:

“8 months: groom, play for 1 hour, carrot, feed, play for 7 and a half hours, stroke, water

10 months: groom, play for 1 hour, carrot, feed, play for 8 hours, stroke, water”

Got to 1 year and I cannot play for 9 hours because my horse has less energy due to being at less than 20% energy at 10 months.

This is flawed somehow. I followed to the exact word and I can’t do it properly because the horse was on 16% energy not 20% and so the energy was lowered when I aged it.

Oh thank-you! I have been looking for a new foal games schedule and usually I use this site frequently when I need help. Thank goodness this schedule was updated! My foal got all +60 bonus skill points thanks to completing the schedule! I actually mixed up the beginning of the schedule and did only 7 hours in the eighth month; but I made up for it with a 10 hour game in the 1yr 4mos second game. I bedded my horse at 22hrs with 25% energy.

This is great~ my horse’s equestrian center didn’t even have a shower! Thanks so much!

Hmm…I normally follow a different schedule:

groom / play for half an hour / feed (normally, I don’t add 2) / play for maximum number of hours* / stroke / water / carrot

Repeat until you get all the skills.

*This depends on the age of the horse, since playing uses less and less energy as the horse gets older, but it’s 11 and a half hours at most, otherwise the horse will be bedded too late.

Used this and my horses turned out great! I didn’t add two though on the eight months. Oh well =D

Thank you! I normally don’t add 2 lbs on eight months, but this helped me a lot! =D
